Energy Conservation Project
Series D bond funds enabled the District to install 792 solar panels on newly built carport structures in the north parking lot area. The net benefit to the college, after paying all costs for the solar projects, is expected to be approximately $975,000 over the first 25 years of service. The net benefit to the college, after paying all costs associated with energy storage systems, is expected to be about $425,000 over the first 15 years of service.
