Open Enrollment runs from April 24, 2023 – May 19, 2023.  Any changes and/or updates to your medical/vision/dental benefits must be made in HCOnline no later than, Friday, May 19, 2023, by 5:00 p.m.  Please be aware that this is the only opportunity to change health plans and/or add eligible dependents for the upcoming year without a qualifying life event.

Voya Voluntary Life Insurance Overview

VOYA Voluntary Life Insurance - Open Enrollment gives you the opportunity to purchase Voluntary Term Life Insurance, through a payroll deduction, for yourself and your eligible dependents Voya/ReliaStar is not participating in the YCCD open enrollment period, but employees may purchase a policy providing evidence of good health as requested. Care Plans

403b, 457b and Long-Term Care Plans

The Office of Human Resources would like to inform all of our employees of the voluntary retirement plans that the district sponsors, which includes a 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan (403(b) Plan) and 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan (457(b) Plan) (the Plans). One of the benefits of participating in these Plalns is the ability to defer from current taxation salary that would otherwise be currently taxable and also defer income taxes on the earnings credited to your account.

The amounts an employee contributes to the 457(b) Plan have an independent limit from the amounts that an employee contributes to the 403(b) Plan. An employee may make pre-tax salary deferral contributions to the 403(b) Plan, the 457(b) Plan only, or make pre-tax contributions to both Plans simultaneously.
