As part of the District’s Values, YCCD embraces transparency and clear, honest communication. The Monthly Highlights intends to communicate to the District community major approval actions the Board takes at the monthly Board meetings. Special Board Meeting – Study Session 

Prior to the regular Board Meeting, the Board held a Special Board Meeting – Study Session. The District’s Institutional Research Team presented a report on Student Access, Student Success, and Student Completion. You can view the presentation linked here.

  • Yuba College Employee Spotlight – Alyssa Emergson 
  • Resolution in Support of Measure G of Sutter County 
  • Resolution Recognizing Cybersecurity Awareness Month 

 

Approval Actions: 

  • Approved: Approval of New Management Job Descriptions and Abolishment of Outdated Job Descriptions 
  • Approved: Employment of Interim Chief Technology Officer (Direct Appointment), One-Month Extension: Jason Musselman 
  • Approved: Employment of Woodland Community College, Director of Student Support Programs: Jazzie Murphy 
  • Approved: Adoption of New Management Salary Schedule, Longevity, and Employee Placement (Step/Range) 
  • Approved: Yuba College, Marysville Campus, Building 300, Flavors Room, Minimal Maintenance Improvements Project: Award Construction Services 
  • Approved: Board Policy 6700: Civic Center and Other Facilities Use (Substantive Changes)

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Governing Board is Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Yuba College.
