Thanks to taxpayer support, the campus’ former library was transformed into a modern Learning Resource Center (LRC). The facility, originally built in 1962 with one addition in 1975, had seen no renovations in nearly 40 years. The LRC houses a library with a seating capacity of more than 600 and an expanded resource collection, computer labs, nine study rooms to support student research and provide group project meeting spaces, a Student Success Center offering tutoring, and a Writing and Language Development Center. The facility also includes spaces supporting distance education, journalism, and computer lab. The LRC opened for student use in 2014.
