As part of the District’s Values, YCCD embraces transparency and clear, honest communication. The Monthly Highlights intends to communicate to the District community major approval actions the Board takes at the monthly Board meetings. Special Board Meeting – Study Session 
Prior to the regular July Board Meeting, the Board held a Special Meeting – Study Session. The District’s Institutional Research Team presented on Institutional Effectiveness. You can view the presentation linked here.

  • Authorization to Award: Laural AG & Water LLC, for the Irrigation Tank Replacement at Yuba College, Marysville Campus 

 

Approval Actions 

  • Approved: Employment of the Dean of Student Success at Yuba College – Carlos Gamez 
  • Approved: Employment of the Dean of Student Success at Woodland Community College – Caren Fernandez 
  • Approved: Employment of the Director of Special Programs – MESA at Woodland Community College – Marcella Grant  
  • Approved: Employment Agreement with Chancellor 
  • Approved: Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Annual Certification Form 
  • Approved: Authorization to Award STRATA AP, Yuba College, Marysville Campus, Electrical Distribution System, Phase I, Architectural and Engineering Services 

 

Next Board Meeting 

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Governing Board is Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Woodland Community College.
