Gurpreet Bains is originally from Calcutta, India. After moving to Yuba City, she decided to attend Yuba College to gain skills and earn a degree that would help in her search of a professional career. With the encouragement and guidance of Professor Chris Myers, Gurpreet found her passion in Accounting. As Gurpreet edged closer in completing her degree requirements, with Professor Myers’ support, her new goal quickly became attending a four year university. Gupreet was accepted to CSU Sacramento and graduated with a degree in Accounting in 2011. Today Gupreet performs financial statement audits as a Senior Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
