STATUS: Canvas access temporarily disabled

Canvas Service Update

Faculty, Staff, and Students,

On the recommendation of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO), the District has temporarily disabled access to Canvas.

This action is being taken out of an abundance of caution due to an ongoing ransomware incident impacting Canvas. Continued connectivity presents an unacceptable security risk to student and employee data.

Canvas will remain disabled until Instructure and state partners confirm that access can be safely restored and that appropriate security assurances are in place.

We recognize the disruption and its impact during finals week and appreciate your patience as we prioritize protecting student course information and District systems.
