Bonnie Loghry, RVT a Yuba College Veterinary Technology Program graduate has twenty seven years of experience in development and maintenance of veterinary technology course work and student assessment. She was employed at several small animal private practices in northern California prior to her current educational position.

Teaching and management interests include: veterinary anatomy; small ruminant medicine and surgery; all aspects of surgical practice; business aspects of veterinary practice emphasizing organization, budget planning and multi-office coordination; curricular development; positive behavior modification techniques to coincide with success-oriented group and individual instruction.

Bonnie is an OSHA certified safety specialist with emphasis in assessing and trouble shooting veterinary work place safety. Additionally Ms. Loghry has traveled and worked internationally training veterinarians, veterinary agents and technicians. Bonnie currently oversees our Veterinary Assisting and Receptionist Certificate Program and instructs VETT 6 (Veterinary Workplace Safety), VETT 52 (Human-Animal Bond), VETT 57R (Veterinary Technology Special Projects) and VETT 91 (Veterinary Assisting) courses.

Bonnie is the featured technician in the Fall Issue, 2009 of The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America NAVTA Journal.

In her spare time Bonnie is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
