English Tutoring

The Writing Center at the CSC offers a number of services and programs for Yuba College students. Students enrolled in English and ESL courses can sign up for our weekly small group writing workshops—led by our experienced staff of peer tutors—or drop by anytime throughout the day to work one-on-one with a writing consultant. Any student, including those not enrolled an English course, can, without an appointment, bring in their writing during our regular afternoon drop-in hours. While at the center, students are encouraged to take advantage of our tip sheet and writing handbook library. We also offer periodic specialized writing workshops based on student and instructor needs. If you have a topic you would like to see covered, please drop by or contact us.

Drop-in writing consultations open to students in all courses:
M-F 2pm—5pm, or by appointment

Open computer lab for students enrolled in English and ESL courses:
M-F 8am—5pm
