Calendar of Events05/23/2008 - Commencement BreakfastDescription:Cafeteria, 8:30 a.m. Graduates, families and friends gather for breakfast before commencement practice. Breakfast tickets on sale to graduates beginning May 1 at Campus Life, room 305. $3 per grad, $5 per guest (limit 2 guest). May 12 tickets on sale to everyone until sold out. 05/23/2008 - Commencement PracticeDescription:College Theatre, 9:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Grads meet inside theatre, building 400, practice scheduled to end by noon. A must to attend: name pronunciation, head count for evening seating set-up and tickets distributed for "Rain Plan." 05/23/2008 - Commencement ExerciseDescription:College Theatre Terrace, 7:30 p.m. Join us in honoring the Class of 2008 as they celebrate this momentous achievement. The ceremony will be outside, in the center of campus. ***Candidates must check in at the Cafeteria at 6:45 p.m.*** For further information please call Campus Life at 530-741-6992. 05/23/2008 - Additional Information, CommencementDescription:Additional Information, Commencement Graduates may purchase caps and gowns from the Yuba College Bookstore at a cost of $35.00, including tax. The Bookstore also has graduation announcements available for $14.00 for a pack of 10. Bookstore hours: Mon. & Tue., 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Wed. & Thurs., 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. ***Candidates must check in at the Cafeteria at 6:45 pm*** Immediately following the graduation ceremony light refreshments will be served in the Campus Center Patio, 300 building. The graduate recessional line ends inside the patio, making this the perfect location for family and friends to meet up with graduates and faculty after the ceremony.
