Marianna Danna was named the BVC conference Player of the year for 2007.

Yuba defeats #1 team in America 4-0!!! - (Date Last Updated: 09/07/2007)

Yuba defeated the number 1 team in the nation today. Richland College the defending national champions were a little shell shocked after being outshot more than 10-1 in the first half. Ragna Lestander left her mark on the match thourghly dominating the left side of the field the entire match. Julia Thylin had one goal and two assists. Julia Grimes a local Sutter product had one goal and one assist. Ragna Lestander had one goal and Breona Pickens also added a goal. Yuba's 4-0 win should move the Lady Niners up from their #9 national ranking. Yuba's defense was again very dominant. Yuba is now 4-0 on the season.

Yuba 2-0 after beating Bakersfield 4-0! - (Date Last Updated: 09/02/2007)

Yuba got on the board early with a 35 yard blast from Melissa Grant in the 6th minute of the match. Shortly after Jacey Wagner crossed the ball to Jaden Whitley who slid the ball past the Bakersfield keeper. The third goal was the most impressive of the day, Grant hit a 40 yard driven ball perfectly in stride to Ragna Lestander who volleyed the ball past the keeper. In the second half Breona Pickens went up for a header and was fouled in the box. Lestander converted the penalty to make the score 4-0. Yuba hosts Cosumnes River on Tuesday September 4th for their next match.
