2003: Played at MSU. Starter at linebacker in his first season with the program...Ranked 14th in the NCC in tackles (7.2 tpg)...Stood third on the MSU tackles charts (72), and was tied for fifth in tackles for losses (5)...Recorded nine tackles against #11 Minnesota Duluth (9/6)...Of five tackles, three were for losses at #18 Northwest Missouri State (9/13)...Notched first career interception at Northern Colorado (9/20)...Had back-to-back double-digit tackles games with 10 against #10 North Dakota (10/25) and a season-high 13 against Augustana (11/1).

Pre-MSU: Spent two years at Yuba College where he played football. Mark was a two time all-league linebacker at Yuba. He was voted all-state one season at Yuba.
