After Yuba J.J. moved on to Whitworth College.
In his senior season he once again earned all-conference as a linebacker.
J.J. earned his Masters Degree in Kinesiology Spring '09 at California State University Sacramento.

Larry Pool

Larry Pool's title is Athletic & Physical Education Manager. Larry is a Marysville native and Yuba College alumnus who has worked at the college for 28 years. He has also worked for the city of Yuba City, Cal Trans and the Marysville School District. Larry loves "the challege of working with the coaches and instructors to make things work for the students and athletes of Yuba College." Each season Larry takes time out of his weekends to help the Niner football team get set up for home and away games. | |

In 2006 Megan began her position as Assistant Athletic Trainer for Yuba College. As an athlete, she was an ice-skater for 8 years and ran cross-country and track in high school. Megan attended Solano Community College then transfered to San Diego State University, where she graguated in 2004. Megan attended graduate school at San Jose State University and completed that program in 2006. Megan has worked as a head athletic trainer for Lynbrook High School and as an athletic trainer at OPTM Physical Therapy clinic. Megan hails from Benicia, CA. In addition to her athletic training duties, she also teaches Basic Health, CPR/First Aid, and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries. When she is not in the athletic training room, she enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and her boyfriend, Jeremy. She also loves scrapbooking, ice skating, and traveling. | |

Bio:
Greg serves as the Yuba College Athletic Counselor. He directs the student athletes toward their academic goals. Greg has been at Yuba College for 22 years. He was hired as the Associate Dean of Admissions, Counseling and Records. Between August '89 to December '95, he was the Vice-president of Student Services and has been a counselor ever since. Greg has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University and a Master's of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon, as well as almost 31 years of experience in community colleges. He enjoys bicycling, fishing, golf, and coaching frosh football at Nevada Union High School. | |

Kelly is in his 17th year at Yuba Collge and is a counselor for student-athletes. Kelly graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's degree in social work and a Master's degree in Counseling. He also played baseball at San Diego State University an College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, where he transferred from, with an Associate of Arts degree. Kelly enjoys playing softball, basketball, and spending time with his wife, Amy, and two children Nicholas and Bernadette. | |

Bio:
Sheila is the Athletic Department Secretary. She grew up at Beale AFB, attended Wheatland High School then Yuba Collge. Sheila has worked various secretarial jobs including a veterinarian office and oral surgeon's office. She was hired at Yuba College in 1998 as a secretary for the Fire Academy and Applied Technolgy Division. She transferred to Athletics in October 2004. Sheila resides in Yuba City with husband of 23 years, Andy, and their three children, Lyndsey, Matt and Jason. She enjoys reading, watching her kid's games, gardening, working out, and spending time with family. | |

Yuba College welcomed Rod Beilby in the summer of 1995 as Director of Athletics-Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He brought with him an extensive background in athletics and the administration of physical education. Prior to taking the reigns of the Yuba College Athletic/P.E. Department, Rod was the head baseball coach at Comumnes River College. He was there for seven years and accumulated an overall record of 193-123. During that time, his teams won three Bay Vally Championships ('89, '91, '92 and was in post season play in six out of seven seasons. From '78-'88, Rod was the head baseball coach and Athletic Director at Vanden High School. Prior to that, he was an assistant baseball coach at San Joaquin Delta College of a season.
Rod has a Bachelor of Art Degree and a California Teaching Credential from the University of the Pacific as well as Graduate Credentials and a Master's Degree from California State University, Sacramento and C.S.U. Bakersfield. Rod has lived in Yuba City since the summer of 1996 with his wife, Dione, and two sons, Arron and Blair. | |
