Hall of Fame & Special Recognition Selection CriteriaParticipant
Unusual distinction in one or more intercollegiate sports for at least two seasons of competition.
Accomplishment should be achieved in a manner that exemplifies the Yuba College concept of a student-athlete.
Five-year period must have elapsed from the most recent participation in the intercollegiate athletic program. Non-Participant Must have contributed significantly and with equal distinction to intercollegiate athletics. A nominee who is a Yuba College employee must have a five-year period elapsed since completion of that involvement which leads to consideration for induction. A non-YC employee is eligible for immediate consideration. Special Recognition Must have made significant contributions with unusual distinction to intercollegiate athletics as a volunteer. The individual may be employed by the College; however, their contributions to ICA shall not be of paid status or as part of an employee's College position. The nominee's contributions should be achieved in the manner that exemplifies, promotes and ensures the integrity and tradition of the Yuba College philosophy of success as a student as well as success in intercollegiate sports. Their contributions of unusual distinction should be made by comparing the contributions of other persons under consideration, their contemporaries, and those who have made similar contributions over the years.
