LOOKING AHEAD: - (Date Last Updated: 12/07/2011)

The 49ers look to rebound this weekend after dropping a pair of games at the College of Redwoods tournament this past weekend. Yuba will travel Friday to Santa Cruz to take on Cabrillo College in a 5pm contest and then make a quick turn around to face Las Positas at home in a 3pm matinee game at the Yuba Gym.

In last Friday's 63-55 loss to Southwestern College of Oregon, Yuba was led by Ebonie Walker-Brown's 21 points and career high 24 rebounds. On Saturday, Chloe Pereiro had a career high 25 points in the 80-64 loss to Redwoods.

49ERS LOSE IN OT TO BUTTE - (Date Last Updated: 11/30/2011)

The 49ers traveled up the road to Butte College on Tuesday night falling 69-63 in overtime. Yuba trailed by 11 with 7 minutes to play before going on a run and taking a one point lead with 1:40 to go. Butte hit a three pointer to take a two point lead, before Veronica Diaz was fouled with 14 seconds to go. She nailed both free throws to tie the game up and send to overtime.

For the game, Diaz had a superb night and led with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Ebonie Walker-Brown had a fabulous night going for another double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

UP THIS WEEKEND: NINERS COAST BOUND - (Date Last Updated: 11/30/2011)

The Yuba College women will embark on their longest road trip of the year as they travel to the coast for two nights to play in the College of Redwoods tournament. Yuba will open the 4 team round robin with a 5pm game Friday against Southwestern Community College of Oregon from the NWACC Conference and then play host College of Redwoods on Saturday at 5pm.
