HS- It could be argued that Mareceo is one of the most talented players to come out of a Sacramento HS in the last 6-8 years. After a great run at Natomas where they finished 20-8 Mareceo decided to take a couple of years off. Mareceo has worked a variety of jobs since HS and finally got tired of Coach Corn calling him. He and his brother Martelli have settled down and are getting used to the "College Life."
They never stopped playing basketball after high school sometimes playing 5-6 hours a day.
Mareceo also hit the weights and has developed into a physical speciman who looks like he should be punishing running backs instead of hitting 3's.

Mareceo listens to Ti, Ludacris and Keak the Sneak and his favorite pro team is the 76'ers.
His inspiration is his mom.
Nickname is "wet","bottoms" or "L Rud".

Mareceo finished up his freshman year at Yuba College as one of the most decorated athletes ever to don a uniform. After averaging 23.4 points (finishing second in Northern California and third in the state)he was named the Bay Valley Conference MVP, 1st team All-State, led California JC's with 119 3 pointers, broke the Yuba College single season scoring record which had been held for over 20 years, and was recently just named a Street and Smiths preseason second team All-American. He was also named the "2006 Yuba College Male Athlete of the Year" and on November 8th, 2006 just signed a full ride scholarship to UNLV to play for Lon Kruger.
