Solomon was an all-league basketball player and running back in football who set numerous school records in rushing. During his sophomore year at Yuba, Solomon started the last 16 games and almost single handily propelled Yuba into the "Sweet 16" of the California State Playoffs. Solomon averaged 10 pts and 5 assists and teamed with University of Maine guard Jon Sheets to form a potent backcourt for the Yuba 49ers. After Yuba, Solomon turned down two Division 1 and four Division 2 scholarships to attend Biola University- a Division 1 NAIA powerhouse known for its Christian background. Although Solomon has been hurt quite a bit this season for Biola, he has still managed to average almost 10 points and lead Biola to a 19-11 record. Solomon spends his summers working out with current and former Sacramento Kings players going head to head with Mike Bibby, Matt Barnes and Bobby Jackson. |
