Bio:
"Richie" as we called him was the first international player to play at Yuba College under Coach Doug Cornelius.
Rich is the brother of University of Pacific star and hopeful first round NBA pick-Christian Maraker.
Rich was a two year player for Coach Corn and was an incredible shooter for being 6'6. A typical Euro style player-Richie loved to shoot and could really pass. Against Napa College as a Sophomore in one his his starts and in front of his parents who had traveled thousands of miles to see him play-Richie put on a 3 point clinic.
Maraker hit 8 of 12 three pointers and scored 24 points falling just shy of the school record of 9 threes. It was a great game for Rich and his folks who were extremely proud.
After Yuba, Richie signed to play with Cal State Stanislaus where he has started 3 games and has hit 22 three pointers helping CSU Stanislaus to a 14-13 record in a very tough D2 league. Richie plans to redshirt next year and improve his quickness before returning for his senior year.
