Mychael didn't have to travel far to attend Yuba College. Growing up in Marysville, Mychael has one of the most storied careers as an athlete that this area has seen.
Mychael was a four year starter at Marysville HS under current Yuba College Assistant coach Ken Griffin. He was all-league 3 years, the section leading scorer twice, league MVP twice and All-City Sacramento.He is the all-time scorer at Marysville and is the career leader in assists and steals as well. Marysville HS won 2 league titles while Mychael was playing.
At Yuba, Mychael known for his perfect shooting form, came off the bench as 6th man for Yuba's 2002-2003 championship. He then sat a year to get stronger and get ahead with school and played last year, starting 19 of the last 20 games.
Mychaels play earned him a full scholarship to Angelo State where former Yuba star Kenny Smith has blazed a record breaking trail before him. Mychael had a season high of 29 points on 12 of 18 shooting vs Southwest Christian University in a win. He is currently averaging 7 points playing in 25 of Angelo States games.
