Bio:
Jon Sheets came to Yuba College as one of the most decorated high school athletes to come out of the Sacramento area in quite a while. While a senior, Jon was named Metro League MVP in football and basketball and was named all-conference in volleyball as well. Jon is thought of as the only Sacramento area athlete who was named to the Optimist All-Star game in 3 different sports.
At Yuba, Jon was named All-Bay Valley Conference both years and was the second runner up for league MVP as a sophomore.
He led Yuba College in scoring and assists as a sophomore and signed a Division 1 scholarship to the University of Maine.
Jon is currently the 4th leading scorer for the Maine Black Bears averaging 9.5 points and is second in assists and first in 3 point baskets made with 65. He has started all 27 games.
