Zach was one of the more talented players to come out of Northern California in 2004-2005. Not only did Zach finish as a first team All-Bay Valley player but is probably best know for his dunks and high flying ability.
Zach was featured as the #1 play of the day on Sportcenter as he took an alley oop pass off of the backboard from teammate Solomon Mercado and jumped completely over an opposing player from Sierra College for a monster dunk.
Zach left Yuba as one of the most recruited players to ever leave this college turning down over 25 Division 1 offers to attend Bradley.
Zach wants to be an actor if basketball doesnt work out and is on pace to finish his degree in Drama from Bradley.
Zach was also featured in a full page article in Basketball Times Magazine which depicted his life growing up as a foster child as well as his engaging personality and basketball ability.This season Zach teamed with former 49er Lawrence Wright and helped lead Bradley University to it's first Sweet 16 in many years. Bradley upset Kansas and Pitt before losing to #1 seed Memphis in Oakland in the Sweet 16. Bradley ended with a top 25 ranking in NCAA basketball.
