 | BJ VismanPosition: Forward Number: 23 Height: 6' 8" Weight: 215 Class Standing: Sophomore Major: Undecided Home Town: Placerville High School: El Dorado Bio: BJ Visman was a very highly touted recruit out of El Dorado HS. BJ had an incredible high school career in which his senior year alone he averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds. He also led the entire Section in blocked shots. He was named league MVP, 1st team All-City and was selected to the Sacramento Optimist All Star Game. at Yuba- BJ had a freshman year Im sure he would like to forget. After coming in ready to challenge for a starting spot, the crafty left hander had a freak injury in practice after the third game of the season. He severely sprained his ankle which kept him out of the next 17 games. He made it back for the final 9 games of the season but wasn't the same player. Now after an intense off season of weight training, BJ is back 20 pounds heavier and much stronger and looks to be one of the top forwards in California. After Yuba, BJ moved on to play at UC Riverside in the Big West Conference. He redshirted the 2006-07 season due to a horrific car accident that left him injured and another teammate killed. BJ is healthy now and ready to play his junior year in 2007-08 for Riverside. |
