Milosevic signs with Valpo!! - (Date Last Updated: 05/22/2009)

Milos Milosevic the 6'7 235 pound bruiser from Oakmont HS in Roseville(by way of Bar, Montenegro)has signed a 3 year full scholarship to play basketball for Valparaiso University in Indiana. Milos has a 4.0 GPA and will major in Electrical Engineering. The recruiting really heated up in the last 4 weeks with Milos being recruited by Hartford, Cal Poly SLO, TCU, Fresno State, Washington State and Seattle U. Milos only played a half of a season for the 49'ers due to a ruptured appendix which forced him to miss about 15 games. Milos is the 2nd player off of this years "3rd straight" Bay Valley Conference Championship team to sign Division 1. Tristan Wilson also signed off this years 25 win team with Long Beach State University.

YUBA BASKETBALL RECORDS 6TH 20 WIN SEASON IN LAST 7 YEARS - (Date Last Updated: 04/02/2009)

The Yuba College Men's basketball team recorded a 75-71 win over Merritt College to record its 20th win of the 2008-09 season.
This is the 6th 20 win season in the last 7 years for Yuba College.The only season that Yuba failed to reach its 20th victory was in 2004-05 during the state imposed budget cutbacks.Yuba ended that season with a 19-12 record.

Yuba heads to 3rd straight "Sweet 16" - (Date Last Updated: 03/04/2009)

Yuba College -the #6 seed in the 2009 California State Playoffs beat #11 ranked Diablo Valley College by 1 point to reach its 3rd straight California "Sweet 16." The win also put Yuba College at 25 wins for the season which is the 3rd highest total for wins in the history of Yuba College! Yuba has ammassed 84 wins in the last 3 years which is an average of 28 wins per year....
Yuba College will play #3 seed City College of San Francisco on Saturday March 7th in San Francisco for a chance to reach a 3rd straight California Community College "Elite 8".
Game time is at 7:30pm.
