Welcome to Woodland Community College!

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration, it is a pleasure to welcome you to Woodland Community College (WCC). Whether you are a new, continuing, or re-entry student, we are here to serve you.

This is a great time to attend WCC! This year marks the 30th anniversary of the college in Woodland. During that time, the campus has grown from a few relocatable buildings to the permanent structures that we have today and we are still growing.

Over the past two years, construction has been evident on the campus. In 2004, we added the new Science building. In 2005, we broke ground for the new Learning Resource Center, which will house an expanded library, computer labs, classrooms, Distributed Education, tutoring center, study rooms and faculty offices. We look forward to the grand opening in Spring 2007.

The faculty and staff are committed to improving excellent instruction and services to guide you in attaining your educational goals. In addition, we have active student groups - the Associated Students of Woodland Community College (ASWCC), and MeCha, as well as a few fledging clubs.

I encourage you to be involved in the campus and to use the resources available to support your success and enrich your educational experience at WCC. Remember, we are here to serve you!

Colusa County Outreach Operations
We extend a warm welcome also to our students attending classes in Colusa County. Staff is available to serve you at two locations in Williams and Colusa, and courses are offered at several convenient locations in the county. We are committed to expanding services and program options through our Outreach Operations, and encourage suggestions for enhancing services to support your success.
