Programs

TRIO at the Yuba Community College District is comprised of two programs (Upward Bound and Student Support Services). Each program has its own goals, objectives and clientele. To see the specific details of the programs, click on a link below.

Upward Bound:
The Upward Bound helps young people and adults prepare for higher education. Participants receive instruction in literature, composition, mathematics and science on college campuses after school, on Saturdays and during the summer.

Student Support Services:
The Student Support Services program helps students to stay in college until they earn their baccalaureate degrees. Participants, who include disabled college students, receive tuition, counseling and remedial instruction.
