Trustee Susan Houle - Area I

Ms. Susan Houle represents Trustee Area I, which consists of all of Yuba County, a small portion of Butte County in the Marysville Joint Unified School District, and the city of Live Oak in Sutter County. Ms. Houle was first elected to the YCCD Board of Trustees in 1996. Her current term expires in 2008.

Ms. Houle has served in the U.S. Navy and she is the current owner/operator of KATZ Concessions, a small business in the Yuba-Sutter area. Ms. Houle’s professional accomplishments have included serving on the board for the Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council, being the Vice-Chair for the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, and being part of the Beale Liaison Committee.

Ms. Houle resides in Marysville with her husband Thomas, has four children, and three granddaughters.
