Welcome to the YCCD Student Support Services Web Site

Who We Are:
Student Support Services is a federal TRIO grant program that serves first generation, low income, and disabled students. Its purpose is to provide academic support services to assist undergraduate participants to remain in college and reach the goal of graduation. The program emphasizes college level reading and writing skills development.

Goals Include:

Provide supportive services each year to 200 low-income and/or first generation, and disabled college students who meet eligibility criteria.
Improve the graduation and retention rates of the Student Support Services students.
Foster an institutional climate supportive of the success of the Student Support Services students.
Enable Student Support Services to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue the full range of academic and career options available.
