Welcome to the YCCD Police Web Site
The
Yuba Community College District Police Department (YCCDPD) has a dedicated
full-service police department with a Chief of Police, nine sworn police
officers, one full-time professional staff member, and student employees.
YCCDPD has primary law enforcement jurisdiction on each of the Yuba Community
College District’s five campuses and associated College properties.
The department is empowered as a full-service state law enforcement agency
pursuant to section 830.32 of the California Penal Code and fully subscribes
to the standards of the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards
and Training (POST). Officers receive the same basic and advanced officer
training as city and county peace officers throughout the state, plus
additional training to meet the unique needs of the campus environment.
The department handles all patrol, investigation, crime prevention, emergency
preparedness, and related law enforcement duties of the campus community.
