Emergency Procedure

There is a joint response by the Police Department and the Health Center when an emergency occurs on campus. In the event of an emergency, please call campus Police at:

  • Marysville Campus: (530) 741-6771
  • Woodland Campus: (530) 681-8782
  • Clearlake Campus: call 911 immediately!

Campus Police in turn, calls 911 if necessary and the Health Center.

If you are calling after business hours you may call the Campus Police cellular phone at (530) 870-1158 at the Marysville campus. At the Woodland campus call (530) 681-8782 from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M.

Please note that any student has the right to refuse emergency transport to the emergency room. In addition, the Yuba Community College District (YCCD) does not pay for ambulance rides or other medical care provided in the event of medical emergencies. Therefore it is the students’ responsibility for any charges that incur. However, YCCD does have a Student Accident Insurance Policy, but its coverage is limited to services rendered as a direct result of an accident and does not cover pre-existing conditions.
