For the academic school year 2006-2007, the Yuba Community College District looks forward to another year of providing financial support to our students. These funds become available through private support from many people who have contributed to scholarship funds in the Yuba Commuity College District Foundation. We encourage every eligible student to apply for financial assistance through this program.

• The number of awards is limited by available funds; therefore, scholastic aptitude and financial need are very important considerations in the selection of recipients.
  
  
• Each Foundation scholarship that you would like to apply for requires that you complete a separate scholarship application packet.
  
  
• You can pick up an application at the Financial Aid Office.

Other scholarships become available at various times during the academic school year. Check the Student Bulletin each week for announcements.

What Happens After You Apply:
A committee of Yuba College faculty, staff, and/or community members screen the applications for the most qualified students for each award. All results are final.

• ONLY SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL IN JUNE AND JULY

Scholarship moneys are not released until the Fall 2006 semester starts and you have completed the registration process.
