Clear Lake Trowel and trellis Garden Club - (02/01/2012)

The following scholarship is available for senior students or students who have graduated from a Lake County high school and are continuing their education, majoring in a field related to the following: Botany, conservation, entomology, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture/design, biology or plant genetics, urban planning, agriculture, environmental science or related fields. Students must have a 2.75 GPA or better.
Application Process: Special application available at the Financial Aid Office at Clear Lake Campus.

Clear Lake Student Association Book Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Minimum GPA: 2.5
Criteria: The Clear Lake Student Association is offering a book scholarship to continuing students attending Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus. Must be a high school graduate or have obtained their GED. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or better and be working towards a certificate, Associate degree or transfer courses. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during the Fall 2012 semester.

Clearlake Rotary Service Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Minimum GPA: 2.5
the Clearlake Rotary Service Scholarship will be awarded by the Clearlake Rotary Club to a Clearlake Campus student who has demonstrated a commitment to service to others through participation in service projects sponsored by campus clubs such as Rotaract, CLAS, or through community organizations such as church, Scouting, Community Action Agency or other groups. The scholarship honors the memory of Charles Bushman, a Clearlake Rotarian who dedicated his life to the motto or Rotary International, Service Above Self. Applicants should have completed at least six units of college work and be in a program leading to an Associate Degree or vocational certificate. Applications are to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office at the Clearlake Campus. Applicants will be screened base upon the personal statement and finalists will be interviewed by local members of the Clearlake Rotary Club. The monetary award will be sent to the college of attendance in Fall 2012 upon the submission of proof of registration and a class schedule to the Secretary of the Clearlake Rotary Club.

ECE Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Minimum GPA: 3.0
This scholarship will be awarded to a Clear Lake Campus student. Must have completed at least 6 units in ECE at the Clear Lake Campus. Must have at least a 3.0 ECE GPA. Must have completed a field experience course or worked in a childcare setting for at least three months. Must submit a personal ECE philosophy paper not longer than one page. Must be a continuing or transfer student and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during the Fall 2012 semester.

Human Services Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Minimum GPA: 3.0
This scholarship is to encourage a full-time or part-time Clear Lake Campus student majoring in Human Services, Sociology, Social Work, or Psychology who has a strong commitment to working in the field of human services. Must have completed 24 semester units and be working towards an associate degree or beyond in one of the above majors. Must have a 3.0 GPA overall and a 3.5 GPA in their major classes. Must be a continuing or transfer student and be enrolled in at least 6 units during the Fall 2012 semester.

Liberal Arts Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Criteria: Dr. Robert Kirk was the first full-time instructor to teach at Clear Lake Campus. He taught History, Speech, English, Creative Writing and Political Science. Dr. Robert Kirk loved teaching. The Liberal Arts Scholarship was established in his memory. Student must be a Clear Lake Campus student. Must be Liberal Arts (i.e. Communications, Criminal Justice, Early childhood Education, Education, Fine Arts, History, Humanities, Language, Psychology) major. Must have completed at least 48 college units with a 3.0 GPA or better and must have completed at least 15 of the 48 units at the Clear Lake Campus. Must be transferring to a 4-year college during the Fall 2012 or Spring 2013 term. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during Fall 2012/Spring 2013 term.

Lake County Retired Teacher's Associations Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

The Lake County Retired Teacher's Association is proud to offer this scholarship to a Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus students. Must have a 3.0 GPA. Must be pursuing a degree in teaching or education. Must be a Lake County high school graduate or resident of Lake County. Must be a transferring to a 4-year college/university in the Fall 2012.

The Clear Lake Campus Rotary Club is an organization that offers students the opportunity to become involved in community service on a local and global level. The club will be offering a book scholarship for the 2012-2013 year. Scholarship applicants must have completed one semester at Yuba College prior to the application date. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better and be enrolled full-time (12+ units) during the Fall 2012 semester. Must be continuing (Yuba College) or transfer student.

Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus Faculty and Staff Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is pursuing a certificate, Associate degree, or transfer. The student must be attending the Clear Lake Campus and must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during the Fall 2012 semester. Must have completed at least 6 units at the Clear Lake Campus. Must have a GPA of 2.75 or better and be a continuing or transfer student. Extracurricular activities, need and academic excellence will be taken into consideration.

Yuba College-Higher Education Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Minimum GPA: 2.5
This scholarship will be offered to a graduating high school student who plans on attending Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus during the 2012-2013 academic year. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Konocti or Middletown Unified School Districts. This scholarship is open to students from all majors who are pursuing a certificate, associate or bachelor's degree. Applicant must have earned a minimum GPA of 2.5 as a high school graduate. Must be enrolled in at least 6 units at Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus during the Fall 2012 semester. Extra-curricular and community related activities will be taken into consideration. This scholarship is offered to assist with the purchase of books, supplies, and/or tuition costs.

Yuba College-Clear Lake Campus Osher Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

The Yuba College Endowed Scholarship is part of a statewide initiative for community colleges from the Bernard Osher Foundation. A student must be financial and BOG eligible. She/he must have completed 24 units of degree-applicable study and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during the semester in which the scholarship is distributed.

Zino Mezoui Culinary Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

The Zino Mezoui Memorial Scholarship will be presented to a deserving student working towards a career in Culinary Arts. Student must be a Clear Lake Campus student. Must have a 3.0 GPA. Must be enrolled as a full-time student during the Fall 2012 semester.

Lakeport Women’s Civic Club Scholarship - (02/01/2012)

Award Range: $1,000
Minimum GPA: 2.75
The Lakeport Women’s Civic Club is offering a vocational scholarship to a Lake County student who plans to enter into Vocational Studies upon graduation. Student must be a Lake County resident. Must be enrolled full-time (12 or more units) and have a 2.75 GPA in all course work attempted. Must list all work and community involvement experience. The entire award of $1,000 will be given upon verification of enrollment for the Fall 2012 semester.
