As Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education, I love teaching and learning about young children. I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children in group care settings. I received my MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College where I did my master's thesis on "Implementing Primary Caregiving in the Child Development Center". I am a strong believer in promoting quality education for young children which means developmentally and culturally appropriate practice. I have high expectations for myself and my students as we move through the semester towards higher understanding of child development and early childhood education.
I come to Yuba College from Kern Community College District and am eager to begin my second year here.
