Welcome! This is a picture of me and my little boy Davis. I am the microbiology (Bio 6) instructor at Woodland College. If you take my class I hope to introduce you to the microbial world that surrounds us! I started my college education at Pierce Community College in Los Angeles. This allowed me to transfer to Cal State Northridge to earn Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Biology. I was so excited about microbes that I continued on to get a Ph.D. in microbiology at the University of Florida. I returned to Los Angeles and taught at UCLA for several years before starting a family. We decided to move to the Woodland area to raise our son and enjoy the great recreational facilities nearby.
