My name is Dr. Laurie Daly. I am a full-time faculty member here at Yuba College Clearlake Campus, where I am an Associate Professor in the Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.) Department.

I have 27 years of experience in the field of ECE. I received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Union College, my Master's of Education with emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Sonoma State University, and I have my Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Mills College. My dissertation research was conducted in Lake County California. The subject was titled “Aggressive Behavior in Preschool Children and Its Influences, Including Violent Television.”

On a personal note, my husband, Jeff, and I have lived in Lake County for 14 years and love it here, even if the summers can be a little too warm. I have three Jack Russell Terriers: Lambie, Dinky, and Nigh-nigh. Dinky is the one in the picture. Isn't he adorable?
