Welcome to the Language Arts Division

The Language Arts Division includes the departments of English, English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading, Speech, Foreign Language, Mass Communication, Education and General Studies. Many of the Division's classes fulfill key degree requirements for the Associate degree and for transfer. Various courses in the Division meet requirements in areas C,D and E.

Specific courses and programs offered within Language Arts include: Sign Language, German, Spanish, English and American Literature and work on the College newspaper . The Division also offers a wide-range of remedial classes in reading, writing and English as a Second Language.
