Classes are offered at the Yuba College campus, the Beale Center, and other community outreach locations as well as our distance education classes which are offered world-wide.

The Business Division is constantly striving to offer convenient scheduling for full-time transfer students as well as the students who are upgrading their skills while also working full-time.

An entire management certificate program was designed for the working adult and thus called “Management for Busy People”. Over the past 3 years we have expanded the online course offerings from 3 to 4 courses to over 25 courses that will be taught online during the spring 2007 semester.

The Business Division offers a wide range of business courses. Accounting courses range from Principles of Accounting to Computerized Accounting and Income Tax Preparation. BCA 15R is a General Education requirement that offers an introduction to Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Cooperative Work Experience Education offers students an opportunity to earn credits while they work. General Business classes include the basics such as Introduction to Global Business, Business Mathematics, and Business English as well as Business Law.

This popular program offers both paid and unpaid positions at several local businesses for students who have completed 12 units of coursework at Yuba College. Current job listings are posted in the Counseling/Job Placement area. Applications for these positions are available at the Business Division office.

Information Technology offers training for certification in CCNA, Oracle, Unix, and Cisco Systems. The Educational Internship program offers internships to advanced students who are completing their major through a partnership with local employers.

Our Management program reaches a wide variety of students through 3-unit transfer courses such as Intro. to Supervision and Management Psychology to half and one-unit courses in Small Business planning and Management techniques. We have revitalized our Real Estate program to offer students the training they need in order to take the State of California Real Estate Sales Exam as well as the State of California Brokers Exam.

Office Administration offers many different courses ranging from Keyboarding to Advanced Office Procedures, Legal Office Procedures and Medical Office Procedures.
