Computer Hardware, Software and Connectivity Requirements:
All Online Distributive Education Program (DEP) courses are offered over the internet and utilize email. Many DEP televised courses utilize email and portions of WebCT within their structured usage. In order to successfully participate, you must have access to a computer with a connection to the Internet. The computer requirements for DEP courses are listed below:

Browser and Plug-Ins Tune Up:	Automated system check & tune up
Supported Browser:	Netscape 6.2.x and 7.0 Download Netscape for: Windows, MacOS 8/9, or X.	Microsoft IE 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 Download IE for: Windows, MacOS 8/9, or X.
Plug-Ins:	RealPlayer Adobe PDF Reader	QuickTime Shockwave & Flash
Operating System:	Macintosh System 8.1 or higher; Widows 95, 98, or NT
Processor:	300 MHz or higher preferred
Memory:	64 MB of RAM (128 MB is preferred)
Monitor:	15" monitor with standard 800 x 600ppi resolution capability or greater
Sound Card:	REQUIRED
CD-ROM:	12X (24X preferred)
Modem:	56.6 Kbps (v.90 compliant) or better
Printer:	Graphics-capable printer (either ink jet or laser)
Software:	Microsoft Office, or other Office Suite

Internet Connection Requirements:
You are REQUIRED to have a dependable connection to the Internet. If you do not have a connection at this time, there are a variety of connection options available. You should research the various providers and choose the service which meets your needs and financial situation. Please keep in mind the speed and reliability of your connection will have a direct influence your online learning experience!

Browser Limitations & Requirements:
The latest version of Netscape/Explorer IS NOT REQUIRED! In fact, WebCT is not compatible with the latest versions of Netscape/Explorer.
