About Distributive Education

The Yuba Community College District (YCCD), has created an educational timeshare by offering a full range of formal and informal courses through its broadcast and online network, called the Distributive Education Program (DEP). Courses originate at Yuba College and are simultaneously broadcast live to a variety of sites locate throughout YCCD. Each receive site has two-way communication with the originating classroom. Home and workplace students may also participate in Distributive Education Program courses.

YubaOnline and WebCT
Courses are also available through YubaOnline/WebCT. Because WebCT is Internet-based, students will need to have access to the Internet. Suggestions are listed on the Recommended Hardware, and Software Requirements page.

Web Browser Limitations
WebCT requires a browser that is both JAVA and JAVAscript enabled. For best results use Netscape 4.7x or Internet Explorer 4.01x. WebCT supports only the latest AOL browser.
