Distribution Education at Yuba College offers Internet/Online courses, enhanced Internet/Online courses, Instructional Television courses, and Telecourses to all students taking courses at a distance. The DE program uses WebCT (course management software) to manage its online course offerings. Enrolled students will find it is necessary to have access to a computer and the hardware and/or software resources necessary to access the Internet. Visit the About Distributive Education page for more information. Unsure about taking an Online course? It is recommended that students have the following Qualities to be a Successful Online Student.

Students: You will need to login and begin your course of study the first week of class or you may be dropped from it by your professor. Always email your professor to verify your enrollment.

Loss of Connection

Automatic WebCT Student Accounts
Students are now automatically uploaded into their WebCT online courses upon registration. The course will be listed on your MyWebCT page within 2 - 24 hours.

Access to Course Content
Student access to course content begins the first day of classes; however, some faculty allow early access. Check the homepage of your WebCT course periodically for announcements, a posted syllabus and the date your instructor plans to open the course.

Finding Your Course and Logging In:
(All WebCT courses are password accessible. This means you (the student) need a Username and Password to access a course.) Students receive a Username and Password after registration in a course. The quickest way to access your course is to click on the above WebCT Login button.

YubaOnline Training & Assistance:
The YubaOnline Support Team is devoted to empowering and assisting faculty with WebCT knowledge and online course development. We provide WebCT Training for faculty, staff and WebCT Trainers.

Global ID's:
Attention Students: All student Global ID's (Username's) for each semester will be deleted two (2) weeks after the end of the course. To access your grades after this date:
