Placement Levels

Placement Examination scores and other factors are used to help place students in one of the following levels for reading, English, and mathematics courses listed. After satisfactorily completing the beginning/recommended level (grade "C" or better), a student progresses to the next higher level. All students are advised to discuss their placement with a Yuba Community College District counselor. You may not re-take the placement examination to pass or skip a course.
