Admission

New, Returning, and Transfer Students:

  1. Complete our On-line Application for Admission
    Access our On-line Application.

  2. Apply NOW for Financial Aid if you feel that you qualify.
You can also apply for financial aid online. In addition to applying for financial aid, if you are a California resident, you will want to apply for the Board of Governor’s Enrollment Fee Waiver (BOGW) program. If you are eligible, this program will "waive" your enrollment fees. Therefore, you will want to apply BEFORE you register for classes. Visit the Financial Aid Office web site for more information.

  3. Complete our (free) Placement Examination.
Contact the Assessment and Testing Center at your local registration office for testing days and times.

  4. Submit all Transcripts if you are planning to take classes in which you have previously met the prerequisites, or if you plan to graduate from the Yuba Community College District.

Have official copies of all college transcripts for all schools you have attended sent to:

    Records Office
    Yuba College
    2088 North Beale Road
    Marysville, CA 95901

  5. Your fees will be due at the time of registration.
You will want to purchase your parking decal at the Registration Office by the start of classes.

  6. High school students who have completed the eighth grade interested in taking classes have special requirements. Please contact your high school for details and documentation required.

  7. New students from outside the U.S. (on an I-20 visa) should contact the Foreign Student Admissions at (530) 741-6720 for the Foreign Student application packet.

  8. Students applying for our "impacted" programs – Radiologic Technology, Associate Degree in Nursing, Vocational Nursing, or Psychiatric Technology programs should request the special program application information by calling (530) 741-6786.
